Special Events

Have you been searching for just the right mix green parks, panoramic views, and recreation facilities to host a party or special event?

Roosevelt Island is just what you're looking for!  Roosevelt Island's venues have accommodated groups such as Goldman Sachs, Citibank, and the French Tourism Board for corporate picnics and events in just the past year.

RIOC also hosts its own events such as our "Best View in Town" Fireworks Festival and the Summer Movie Series in addition to island-wide celebrations like Fall for Arts Festival and Roosevelt Island Day.

Sportspark

Sportspark is a full service sports and fitness facility featuring an indoor pool, basketball court, ping pong room, and locker rooms with showers. It is an ideal compliment to a corporate sports event or picnic on the nearby fields or playgrounds. In the past, Sportspark has been used for summer camps, weekend retreats, theater, photography, and filming in addition to corporate events
