All permit holders are responsible for providing their own equipment, supplies, decorations, and food. The only supplies Sportspark will provide are limited to cleaning tools such as brooms, dustpans, and garbage bins, etc.

We accept most forms of payment, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, cash, and checks.
As outlined in our member policy, we do not offer refunds or returns on any products or services purchased at Sportspark. All sales are final unless otherwise determined by management.
We do accept cash and checks to pay for new memberships, however, a credit card must be placed on file to obtain a new membership. All cash and check payments must be made in person at Sportspark no less than 3 business days prior to the 1st of the month. Checks can be made payable to, "RIOC".
If any check or credit card charge payable to RIOC is not honored, Management will assess a $25 charge for each check and credit card rejected and collects the current and past-due balance in any subsequent month.
There are four spaces available for permitted use in Sportspark: the swimming pool, basketball court, recreational room, and second floor group fitness studio.
To permit a space within Sportspark, you must contact the Roosevelt Island Public Safety Department (PSD) and follow their instructions.

The swimming pool can only be permitted for either 3 lanes or all 6 lanes.
Our court is multipurposed and is outfitted with play lines for two volleyball courts and an indoor soccer court. If you wish to play any other sports, please check with the Public Safety Department to make arrangements prior to submitting your permit request.
There is metered street parking available on the Westside (Manhattan Side) of the building. Please check at Motorgate Parking Garage (688 Main St) for more additional parking, since metered street parking is limited.

No. Food is not permitted on the gym floor. Sports drinks must have a cap on them at all times. We provide tables and chairs in the lobby area to accommodate visitors who want to eat or drink before entering the gym space.
