The smash hit SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE kicks off The Roosevelt Island Summer Movie Series on June 21, 2019 at Southpoint Park, located south of the Tram and Cornell Tech. Admission to all movies is free, but food vendors will be on site to help make this unique movie experience even more enjoyable. Pre-movie festivities begin at 7:00 P.M. with the actual movie being shown at sunset. We encourage visitors to arrive early and bring their own blankets and lawn chairs.
“Our movies are a great way for families and friends to enjoy a night on the Island under the stars,” said Susan Rosenthal, the CEO of the Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation (RIOC) which has produced the event for the past 11 years.
