Adult and Youth Swim Programs
Build and strengthen your swimming ability in a safe and fun environment with our premium youth and adult swim classes. Our classes range from beginner to advanced, all led by our expert swim instructors.
All swim programs are $80 for members and $160 for non-members.
Swim Programs are NON-REFUNDABLE
Swim class registration begins in person or over the phone on Saturday 9/16 at 9am. Online registration will open on Monday 9/18 for any classes with remaining spots. You may register online by going to your Gymmaster app or clicking the links in the below tabs.

Age: 6 months-23 months
SWIM DIAPERS REQUIRED
Parental/Guardian supervision in pool is REQUIRED
Introduces basic skills to parents and children, including safety topics.
Purpose: Builds basic water safety skills for both parents and children, helping infants and young children ages 6 months to about 2 years become comfortable in the water so they are willing and ready to learn to swim.
Learning Objectives:
- Adjusting to the water environment,
- Showing comfort while maintaining a front or back position in the water
- Demonstrate breath control, including blowing bubbles or voluntarily submerging under water.
No Swimming Experience Required

TODDLER

Age: 4-5 years old
Purpose: Gives young children about ages 4 and 5 a positive, developmentally appropriate aquatic learning experience that emphasizes water safety, survival and foundational swimming concepts. Skills are age-appropriate, helping participants achieve success on a regular basis while in a class environment with their peers.
Learning Objectives
- Water Comfort and Buoyancy: Developing comfort in the water, blowing bubbles, submerging face, floating with support, and basic kicking.
- Water Safety Awareness: Introduction to basic water safety rules, recognizing lifeguards, and understanding pool environments.
- Water Movement and Exploration: Basic arm movements, introduction to freestyle/front crawl, and introduction to backstroke.
- Stroke Development: Refining freestyle/front crawl and backstroke techniques.
- Introduction to Treading Water: Basic treading water techniques, including staying afloat and basic scissor kick.
- Water Safety Skills: Basic self-rescue techniques, recognizing and responding to water emergencies.

Learning Objectives:
- Introduction to Water Safety: Basic water safety rules, understanding pool environments, and basic self-rescue techniques.
- Water Comfort and Buoyancy: Developing comfort in the water, blowing bubbles, submerging face, floating, and basic kicking.
- Introduction to Swimming: Basic arm movements, introduction to freestyle/front crawl, and introduction to backstroke.
No Swimming Experience Required

Purpose: Provides further coordination and refinement of strokes
Requirements: Must Pass Beginner Level Objectives
Learning Objectives:
- Stroke Development: Refining freestyle/front crawl and backstroke techniques.
- Introduction to Breaststroke: Basic breaststroke leg kick and arm movements.
- Introduction to Treading Water: Basic treading water techniques, including staying afloat and basic scissor kick.

Purpose: Provides further coordination and refinement of strokes
Requirements: Must Pass Intermediate Level Objectives
Learning Objectives:
- Stroke Refinement: Improving freestyle/front crawl, backstroke, and breaststroke techniques.
- Introduction to Butterfly: Basic butterfly arm movements and leg kick.
- Introduction to Turns: Introduction to flip turns and open turns.

ADVANCED SWIM

Age: 18+
Requirements: Swimming Experience Required
Learning Objectives:
- A masters’ swim class is a continuous swim workout.
- Masters’ swim workouts include a mix of drills and continuous swimming.
- A master’s swim class is not a lesson. It is a coached swim set, with emphasis on building endurance.
- Swimmers can expect to swim an average of 1500 – 3000 yards per workout.
- Swimmers will be divided into lanes based on pace / ability.
- Workouts will focus primarily on freestyle. However, all 4 swim strokes (free, fly, back, breast) may be covered. (athletes are not required to swim all 4 strokes)
- Workouts are 45 minutes. Athletes who are not conditioned for a 45 min swim are welcome to take additional rest breaks as needed, or leave the workout early until they build up endurance to swim for the full 45 minutes.

MASTER SWIM
