From the construction of a professional sports arena and the only aerial commuter tramway system in the country in New York City, to the development and construction of merchant gas facilities off the Gulf of Mexico, Mr. Escobar provides key, real world insight at every stage of the development and construction of real estate.
Mr. Escobar is a 2004 graduate with honors of New England School of Law and a 1995 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Washington. Previously a judicial law clerk and appellate court attorney for the Chief Justice of the New York State Appellate Division, Third Department, Mr. Escobar's practice now centers upon complex real estate development, design, engineering and construction transactions; real estate project finance of energy, infrastructure, transportation and renewable energy projects; real estate and construction concerns in public-private partnerships; project support and claims dispute avoidance; and real estate and environmental risks. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Escobar led the real estate development and construction practices in one of the top Chambers-ranked corporate law firms in the country and was associated with the top Chambers-ranked construction law firm in the country, and has led projects across the Americas.
