FREEDOM OF INFORMATION LAW (FOIL)
Records of Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation (RIOC) are available to the public in accordance with Article 85 of the New York State Public Officers law, known as the "Freedom of Information Law", or FOIL.
The Committee on Open Government (the "Committee") is the New York State agency responsible for overseeing the Freedom of Information Law, Open Meetings and Personal Privacy Protection Laws. The Committee maintains a website that includes the text of the Freedom of Information Law as well as regulations adopted by the Committee pursuant to FOIL
HOW TO FILE A FOIL REQUEST:
Your request for records must be in writing and can be emailed or mailed to the Records Access Officer. Please describe in detail the records that you are seeking. Please include your phone number, email address and mailing address so our office can contact you with any questions.

APPEAL OF RIOC FOIL DENIALS
Any person denied access to a record maintained by RIOC may, within 30 days, appeal such denial by writing to RIOC's FOIL Appeals Officer:
