Sunday - Thursday                  :  5:45 AM to 2:30 AM
Friday & Saturday                    :  5:45 AM to 3:30 AM

Morning Rush Hours (M - F)  : 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM 
Evening Rush Hours (M - F)  : 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Red Bus Service on Roosevelt Island Mirrors the Tram Schedule

Fare Information

• MTA Metrocards are accepted

• We follow to same fare structure as the MTA

• Up to three (3) children 44 inches tall and under ride for free on the Tram when accompanied by a fare paying adult.

• Children over 44 inches tall require full fare

• $1.10 Seniors (with MTA Metrocard)

• For Large Groups: All groups larger than 25 must purchase a permit to ride the tram. Groups less than 25 people can purchase the full round-trip fare on the Tramway Plaza platform. The Tramway does not accept MTA Courtesy Cards.
