Youth Center
RIOC now operates the Roosevelt Island Youth Center as an after-school, drop-in center. The Center provides a safe and inclusive environment for island youth to gather.
Operating Schedule
Monday through Friday
- 2:45 PM - 6:00 PM for children in grades 2 to 8
- 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM for teenagers
Saturday
- 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM for teenagers
If you would like RIOC to pick up your child from PS/IS 217 and walk them to the Youth Center on any date, a Youth Center Contact Form must be submitted to PS/IS 217 & to the Community Affairs Department.
